The DHS Sparklers Inclusive Cheer Squad and the Varsity Cheerleaders will be showcased on Channel 5 News tonight. The reporter said the piece would either appear on the 4, 5, or 6 o’clock news. If you get a chance check out this new cheer squad that was formed this year at the high school including some special needs students with regular ed students to cheer at athletic and other events next year. This is the first time for such a cheerleading squad at the high school.
